My heart’s appreciation for the freedom you have bought with your service

It is a day to remember and give thanks to all those men and women who gave their lives or served in the nations military in order that I might have this blog and write what I choose to write. To worship what, who and how I choose to worship. To own the choices for my own body. To pursue my dreams with all my strength. To give a voice to those that have no voice. To offer me the responsibility of choosing those who might lead my country.

I'm a free person now, free to be as apolitically or as politically correct as I choose. I am, for information sake, rabidly, fanatically, disturbingly political. It makes my daughters nuts but there you have it.

I suppose I could be fanatical about cleaning. Nah, too much work.

I am fanatical about my horse but I really only see her 4 days a week. The drive is a killer.

I could be fanatical about the hundreds of animals that seem to live in my house but..., I hate them all. I didn't bring one of them home and why I allowed it? Well, chalk it up to "I wanted to be a good and loving parent". I know, I know, my thinking was totally skewed. My ultimate goal is to have them stuffed and sent to The Bloggess aka Jenny Lawson.

I am fanatical about bull riding but if you're a woman and you're not, then honestly, you're not looking in the right direction.

But, for all intent and purposes, I'm a political junkie.
